Learning Day 20 04.02.2023

                                                           Day 20

                                                 Day 20 started with the morning assembly by  group F.   The assembly was very nice.   After the session, some of the participants gave sessions on different topics.  The topic  padlet  was taken by  Mrs  Sherly ,Quizziz    by Mrs Sreena and QR code by Pooja  Sharma.  All the sessions were very informative and useful for  us. During the second session, Sri Mukesh kumar, Deputy Commissioner, ZIET Chandigarh,  gave a session on "Story based Pedagogy in context of NEP 2020.  In this session ,he mentioned about the importance of story telling to students.  Afternoon session, we are  directed to  the computer lab for doing all the pending works both group and  individual projects.

                                                 The day started with the morning assembly by group e Bibliophile.  The assembly was very nice.  After that the first session started by a vibrant class by Madam  Neesa singh, librarian, T S  state central library, Chandigarh.  He gave a lecture on 'library Advocacy and Collaborative activities in school library'.  She gave us many ideas  on library collaboration and activities. Being our assembly, I got the opportunity to propose vote of thanks to that striking personality.   After lunch, we got an opportunity  to visit  the state central library and got an opportunity to  explore the different sections of that library.   

Learning Day 18 02.02.2023

                                                         The  session started  by the assembly of group D.  The assembly was very nice. The special item was very beautiful and amazing.  Sri  Dharmendra described all the participants from different regions in a wonderful and accurate way. He described me  as a valuable person. I loved   his amazing  description  about me for, many times , I am  realizing and admiring me as a wonderful gift of god  and a valuable gift to my parents, husband ,daughter, relatives and friends.  After the assembly, the first   session started with  the topic  'Class library'.  He described different  color code  to be used in primary classes.   During second session,  Sri S L Faisal  gave a class on SLA and  requested to join for, It is a useful tool for professional development. After that, Sri Mujeeb  Reheman   librarian, from Ernakulum region, gave a lecture on  his visit to Foreign country as a part of his Fulbright Scholarship. It was a very wonderful session.  During afternoon session, Sri S L Faisal continued with his talk on SLA.  After that session, we are allowed to  complete our group project.  

Learning Day 17 01.02.2023

                                                                               DAY  17

                                                              Day 17 started with the assembly by group C.  The assembly was very informative  and nice.  After the assembly,  Tejinder  Singh , Training Assistant  conducted  an informative class on the topic 'Action Research'.  He  described about the importance and needs  of action  research.  He mentioned many ideas, along with SWOT analysis.  The class was very informative and useful for me.   During the second session, Rajiv  Ranjan  the training Assistant, gave a  session on 'Ethics at work place' He explained many ideas  regarding the ethics to be followed in the workplace.   The class was very  informative.  and attractive.  Rajiv sir is very punctual in his work and timing. So he  was able to complete his work 5  minitues  before the  the  proposed time.  And that particular 5 minitues,  Sri Sunil  Saini  gained for conducting an activity and that way he delivered a message to the participants. The activity  was very interesting.  He selected 5 participants and sent 4 to different places outside the lecture hall .He showed a message and told one of the participants  who remained in the room to read that.  After that he  told  that participant to convey that message to one of the participants, who is waiting outside. After that, that participant ,those who got  the  message explained the message  infront  of the participants, those who are observers.  The process continued till the  last participant, those who was outside the lecture hall.  The significance of the activity is 'one message will get twisted when it reaches the  last  person because of some communication barriers'. It was a  good and catching message. As a  professional ,we should keep this in mind along with the great thought too  'Necessity is the mother of all inventions and needs'   After that we all are allowed to  do our pending  works in the computer lab. 

Learning Day 16 .31.01..2023

                                                                              DAY 16

                                                            Day  16 started with the morning assembly by group B. The assembly was very attractive and also informative.  The first session started with the  class titled  Copyright and intellectual property right.  The session was delivered by Sri Rupak  Chakravarthy, Punjab University,  Chandigarh.  He describes about  the rules and regulations we  have to follow  relating to Copy right.  It was very useful for the librarians .  During second session , Sri Anupam  Prakash, delivered a session on  Career guidance.  It was a very informative session as it is very useful for the librarian's point of view.  During the second session  all the remaining 12 participants presented their demo presentations.   Each and every sessions, the resource persons gave  wonderful feedbacks to  the participants. To me  also all the participants done their presentations very well and almost all the areas covered.  

Learning Day 15 30.01.2023

                                                                    DAY 15

                                                              The day 15 started with the morning assembly by  Group A. with the topic  Martyrs' day where  gandhiji's  death anniversary  observed. The special item was paying tribute to Gandhiji.  At 11 am all participants, resource persons and DC Sir Mukesh Kumar paid tribute to Gandhiji by  observing  2 minitues silence.  The first session started with the topic Book Club: a tool to improve  widespread reading among students. The session was very informative and useful for me. During second session, Sri  Neeraj  Singh   gave a session on NFC technology. He described about Web 3.0 and  2.0 web.  Described about  cloud computing and QR codes.  During the afternoon session, 8 participants  presented their  demo sessions. After that, different groups  discussed about  the  programmes to be conducted.  I joined the  thiruvathira  team. We practiced  Thiruvathira  till 6 pm  After that till 8 pm I  was in computer lab for doing the pending works.    

Learning Day 14

                                 The session started with the morning assembly by Group F. The assembly was very nice and attractive. After that, Quizziz  conducted.  The first session started by the topic Artificial intelligence by Puneeth  Modgil. The class was very informative.  The  second session started  with the class  by Sri S L Faisal.  The topic was ' Social media for academic  libraries.   Afternoon session start with the demo presentation by 8 participants.   During  last session, Sri  Adesh  kumar,  taught us how to create  marquee tag in  HTML. After that, Sri S L Faisal  taught us how to create a  wakelet  and to add collections in  a   Wakelet.  After that a hands on session was there.
