Learning Day 15 30.01.2023

                                                                    DAY 15

                                                              The day 15 started with the morning assembly by  Group A. with the topic  Martyrs' day where  gandhiji's  death anniversary  observed. The special item was paying tribute to Gandhiji.  At 11 am all participants, resource persons and DC Sir Mukesh Kumar paid tribute to Gandhiji by  observing  2 minitues silence.  The first session started with the topic Book Club: a tool to improve  widespread reading among students. The session was very informative and useful for me. During second session, Sri  Neeraj  Singh   gave a session on NFC technology. He described about Web 3.0 and  2.0 web.  Described about  cloud computing and QR codes.  During the afternoon session, 8 participants  presented their  demo sessions. After that, different groups  discussed about  the  programmes to be conducted.  I joined the  thiruvathira  team. We practiced  Thiruvathira  till 6 pm  After that till 8 pm I  was in computer lab for doing the pending works.    

Learning Day 14

                                                              DAY 14

                                 The session started with the morning assembly by Group F. The assembly was very nice and attractive. After that, Quizziz  conducted.  The first session started by the topic Artificial intelligence by Puneeth  Modgil. The class was very informative.  The  second session started  with the class  by Sri S L Faisal.  The topic was ' Social media for academic  libraries.   Afternoon session start with the demo presentation by 8 participants.   During  last session, Sri  Adesh  kumar,  taught us how to create  marquee tag in  HTML. After that, Sri S L Faisal  taught us how to create a  wakelet  and to add collections in  a   Wakelet.  After that a hands on session was there.

Learning Day 13 28.01.2023

                                                                       DAY 13  

                                                  A local tour arranged for the participants.  The tour started  at 8.30 am. The place visited includes Rock garden,  Sukhna  Lake ,Bird park and rose garden. The tour was very interesting and everyone enjoyed very much. We had our lunch at rose garden. We reached ZIET at  5 pm.

                                                       The morning session started with a wonderful assembly by  Bibliophile. The special item presented  by Sri Mohammed  Shafi  was very attractive. He   presented a book review  in the assembly as a part of book promotion policy.  The second session started with the class by  Assistant Commissioner, KVS RO Chandigarh .The topic was  Flagship  Programmes  in KVS .    It was a wonderful session and he covered almost all flag ship   programmes  we are  doing in  KVS. The Flagship programmes  includes  includes  FLN,JIGYASE,TARUNOTSAV,SBSB ,EBSB etc. Pre test conducted. in the afternoon session. After that a hands on session was there in the computer lab

Learning Day 11 26.01.2033

                                                            DAY 11

Republic day  celebration conducted in the ground by hosting the national flag by   Mukesh kumar,  Deputy Commissioner. After that  Sweets were distributed by  Sri Mukesh   sir. The morning session started with the attractive assembly of  Group  D. After that, Sri  Mukesh Kumar gave a wonderful session on    the topic   Inclusive Education. It was a nice session and explained about  how to include children with inabilities  in the educational system.  During the second session, Mrs  Jyothi  taught us to make a book creator. In the fourth session, We had  a hands on session on book creator.

                                               

Learning DAY 10 25.01.2023

                                                          DAY-  10

                 The day started with a wonderful assembly by Group C. The assembly is improving  everyday. After the assembly s a motivational talk done by Sri   Teh  Chand   to elevate us to a sound level. The first session started with a session 'Effective Communication skills by  Aparna  Ray ,training assistant.  The session was very informative and  interesting .She conducted many activities, which was very interesting .One of the activities, 'Chinese Whisper 'was very  interesting. During the second session, Sri Jugal Kishore, Assistant  Commissioner, gave a session on  'Sexual harassment of women in  work place. It was a wonderful session. He also explained about the importance of  reading, During Afternoon session, 9 participants presented their demo projects.  During fourth session,  We were in computer lab for hands on session.

                                   The morning session started  with assembly of group B  bibiliothica. Quizzes conducted for the evaluation  of participants. The assembly is related to  National Girl Child Day.The first session started with the session under the topic  Open Educational Resource by  Sri  Adesh   Kumar. The class was very  informative and useful. During  second  session,  Sri  Ranjeet ,Training  Assistant,ZIET Chandigarh gave a session on Life Skills. The  session was very interesting and enjoyable.  He explained about the life skills to be acquired by a librarian, as a teacher. During the second session, 7 participants presented their  Demo Topics  on different  topics. the  classes was very interesting.

A rainy Morning in Chandigarh. I enjoyed the Sweet nostalgic smell of the soil which directed   my thoughts to  God's  own country: my Kerala.

Learning Day 8

                                                Day 8 started with a wonderful assembly by Group A  named  enlighters.The assembly was very nice.I liked the special item very much. After the assembly ,Dr   Neeraj Kumar Singh Asst Librarian,Punjab university, gave a   lecture on  Planning  and creation  of  digital library. The class was very informative. During afternoon session, we visited Punjab University library.The journey with  the colleagues and  resource persons was a memorable  event. We  learned many things from  library. .The librarian described all details including the routine works of that library. A very nice experience for me.

Learning Day 7 22.01.2023

Day 7 started with the morning assembly by  Group  F.   The first session started with a class  about Librarians diary by Sri Sunil Saini. It was a very informative and useful session for me. during the second session, Sri Puneet  Modgil gave a class on Cyber security .Afternoon session   Sri Mohammed Shafi  gave a class on how to create Canva. Sreena explained  the activities conducted in her library.

Learning Day 6 21.01.2023

Morning assembly was  presented by  Group E, Bibliophile. The assembly was very informative.  During the first session ,Sri SL Faisal gave a lecture on the topic Changing role of  school library and  librarians .The session was very useful for me .He explained the role of a librarian as a teacher. The role  of a librarian is like a teacher ,leader instructor, information specialist and a programme  administrator. During the second session ,Manoj  K Bajaj a clinical psychologist  gave a session on  the topic stress Management.The class was very informative.

Learning DAY 5 20.01.2023

                                                      Day 5 started with the assembly of  Group  D .The assembly was very nice. The assembly is improving  every   day. The first session started with quizzizz to check the learning outcomes  of the participants. After that, Sri Sunil Saini gave a session on Reading habits. He shared many ideas to engage children during library hours. The next session  started  with the talk of  Manjula Siddharya  on Personality development .It was  a relaxing session  for me .In the next Session,  Sri SL Faisal ,explained about  Wakelet and in the  hands on  session, he taught us to create a Wakelet and it is  very useful for me.

Day 4 Learning 18.01.2023

                                                     Assembly Conducted by Group C.It was a nice assembly. Every day assembly is improving.After assembly,Quizziz conducted for evaluating our learning process. Sri Sunil Saini gave a session on NEP.It was a very useful session for us.During second session, Sri SL Faisal gave a session on WEB tools and how to create a virtual library.He taught  how to create a sound cloud and Link Tree. Very useful session for me.

                                                          Assembly Conducted  by Group B.During first session, Hon Deputy Commissioner,Sri Mukesh Kumar gave us an informative session for us regarding Librarian as an academic leader.After that  for evaluating our learning process, a quizzize  conducted.After that, Sri Sunil Saini gave a session on E granthalaya 4.0.He also discussed about the problems facing  on EG 3.During afternoon session ,Sri SL Faisal conducted a class on  How to create a blog on wordpress.All sessions are really very useful for me.

Day2 Learning 17.01.2023

                                                  Morning Assembly conducted by Group A.It was a wonderful  assembly.suggestions were given by the resource persons for improving assembly programmes.Sri S L Faisal gave a session on the topic,Guidelines for school libraries.A session conducted by Tech Chand relating to school saftey and it was a very useful session.During afternoon session, Sri Adesh kumar gave a class on how to create a digital portfolio.

Inservice Course for Librarians 2022-23 - Day 1

                                                                            DAY -1

Inauguration of 21 days Inservice Course by DC.Sunil Saini gave a class on Objectives of training programme and it was an informative class for me. During the second session,Sri SL Faisal explained about Digital portfolio .We were divided into 6 groups as A,B,C,D,E and F.After that  a  pretest conducted.
